Young actor Matt Evans revealed he is still hoping that his weekly show, the series of “Pedro Penduko” will make a comeback on his mother network ABS-CBN, again.
“Sana bumalik.”, Evans told after his guesting in “Wowowee.”
The formerly curly-haired Evans (he’s changed that distinctive ‘do for a straighter one) said he really miss doing “Pedro Penduko” but he knows that all things, good or bad, have an end.
“…of course I miss the series but I also believe that I can not do (Pedro Penduko) all the time,” he said.
Evans said that if possible he would want to do a movie version of his hit series for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
“Yes (I like to do the movie) and if possible I would like to work with the original Pedro Pendukos so it will be really be good and happy, but we all know what happened to Mr. Ramon Zamora, he’s gone, but maybe (working) with kuya Jano Gibbs (is possible).”
Nowadays, according to Evans he is busy hosting ASAP ’08 hosting and doing some workshops with his on-screen partner Melissa Ricks.
But aside from those activities he added that he is also busy with TV guestings particularly in ABS-CBN and doing out-of-town shows.
He also said that he is really happy working with the Kapamilya network and dismissed the possibility the he could join other stars who already moved to a rival network.
Evans started his career when he joined the 2006’s Pinoy Big Brother Teenage Edition. After the reality show he starred in ABS-CBN’s kiddie series “Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko”, “Pedro Penduko at ang mga Engkantao” and “Princess Sarah.”
